This is my double page spread. It is currently in working progress. The blue box in the middle is meant to be the space where the images are going to be and I just placed a picture of Chris Brown there until I put my actual images there. The colours that I am going to use on the double page spread are grey and pink with a white background.
This new image us the updated version of what I have done to my double page spread so far. If you look as the one above you can see that there is the image of Chris Brown and the blue rectangle in the middle of the page. However, in this new one you will be able to see that the middle blue rectangle has been removed and in the left hand corner you will see that there is a yellow rectangle there and this was put there so that I would be able to align the text. The Chris Brown image has also been removed and I did this because I knew that my images would have to go there so I just decided to remove it and once my images have been put there I can change the text if necessary. This third image is the progression of double page spread. If you look at this one carefully then you will be able to see that the article only focuses on one person rather than two. This was done because I realised that it would be easier to focus the article on one person and I also saw that there wasn't enough space or time to do this. You will be able to see where I have positioned my image and you can see that I have tried to use the rule of thirds in there by positioning the image in the right hand corner and then placing the text all around it. On this one as well I have changed the colours on there from black, pink and grey to grey, white, green and black. This is because my magazine article was focused on a boy so I decided that it would be more suitable for me to use more manly colours and black and green seemed to be suitable ones. I also decided, just like the front cover, that it would also be best to use colours that are close to colour of the clothes that Junaid was wearing. This image is the completed version of my double page spread however if I see that some changes need to be made before the deadline then I will make them to make sure that I get a better grade.
This is the final version of the double page spread. If you look at the image above and this one here you will be able to see that I have removed the line that divides the two halves of the page. As well as that I have also added some more text on the bottom right to try and fill some blank spaces. I have kept the positioning of the image and the text the same because I felt that the images and text were fine where as they were.
This final version at the bottom has got the page number included on it because I forgot to put it on there on the previous image.
This final version at the bottom has got the page number included on it because I forgot to put it on there on the previous image. On this version I had to rearrange all of the text so that everything fitted on the same line as in the previous versions you can see that this is not the case.
